Randy Steele

Randy Steele is a sales and marketing executive from Texas with 40 years of experience. With a passion for storytelling, Randy excels in creating content and experiences that engage and inspire companies and customers alike.

A graduate of Texas Tech University in Buddy Holly’s home town of Lubbock, Texas, Randy is an enthusiastic fan, collector, and historian of Buddy Holly and the Crickets. He has spent decades tirelessly researching the 1959 Winter Dance Party tour, along with the careers and personal lives of Buddy Holly and the Crickets, Ritchie Valens and J.P. ‘Big Bopper’ Richardson. He has authored articles published in America and in England.

On the journey to celebrate the contributions of these wonderful artists, Randy has earned friendships around the world, a consideration as a leading expert in the field, and the respect and trust of the Holley, Valens, and Richardson families. For Randy the goal has always been the same: to share their stories in an authentic manner so that their music and their lives will never fade away.
