Ed Sheeran

A celebrated singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran’s melodic talent and genuine storytelling have resonated with millions worldwide. Following his beginnings in Halifax, England, he quickly made a name for himself with his unique blend of various genres.

He and Buddy have shared a great ability to blend storytelling with memorable melodies while employing their unique songwriting styles which have resonated with audiences across generations.

Known for his remarkable guitar skills and innovative loop pedal performances, Ed captivates audiences with his dynamic live shows. With his grounded demeanour, he remains a beloved figure, connecting with fans through the universal language of music.

Often incorporating influences from classic rock, folk, and R&B into his songwriting, Ed continues to reflect the sounds of artists like Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, and Van Morrison. He has also previously covered musicians such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, and Elton John, paying tribute to the elder statesmen of his craft.

Ed Sheeran’s guitar was presented to Ed backstage at The Teenage Cancer Trust ‘Backyard Concert’ in 2018 by Don McLean. Ed was there with his fiancée and his parents who are huge Buddy Holly fans. Ed was particularly pleased that it was an Atkin guitar as he has quite a few back in his home in Suffolk.
